Daegan Steinlage

Centralia Panther boys are off to a strong start this season with a 3-0 mark and have had contribution from several avenues in the first three games of the season.

One guy that has stood out has been junior, Daegan Steinlage who has recorded double figures in all three games and is averaging 21.3 points per game.

Last week the Panther junior poured in the buckets in the Panther wins over Wetmore and Axtell. The week started with a 82-16 win on the road at Wetmore and Steinlage notched 23 points on 11-15 shooting in just three quarters of action and finished with a double-double on the night grabbing 11 rebounds and added three blocks.

His strong performance didn’t stop there as he went 15-21 from the floor to record 31 points and once again had a double-double with 10 rebound, while adding four blocks to fill the stat sheet.

Steinlage and his Centralia teammates look to continue to build upon their solid start to the year and challenge for a top tier finish in the tough Twin Valley League.
