The Frankfort Wildcat boys are hot on the court right now winning three of their last four and with a few different bounces of the ball or plays quite possibly could have a winning record on the year.

Now 4-4 on the season the Wildcats are putting full four quarter games together and wins are coming including last week a 62-61 win in overtime over Centralia at home and a home 70-49 win over Blue Valley-Randolph. While several guys have been at the front leading the Wildcats senior, Jedd Rose has went on an impressive stretch for the team in the last four games and is having a strong season.

Rose against Centralia posted 16 points, including a game tying three-pointer with 6.8 seconds left in regulation that pushed the game to overtime, while he also grabbed five rebounds in the win. Jedd followed that up with a double-double against Blue Valley notching 24 points and 10 rebounds and helped set the tone early in the contest with 14 of his 24 in the first half.

The Frankfort seniors strong performances this season aren’t just condensed to last week has before the holiday break he tallied a season-high 27 points with 12 rebounds in a win at Linn and even in a though loss at Wabaunsee Rose scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

On the season Rose and been a solid for the Wildcats averaging 15.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, while adding one assist and steal per contest.

Frankfort Wildcats are starting to put things together all-around this season and behind the play of Rose and his teammates they look to continue their momentum as the season continues.
