Reid Greaser

Coming off the best finish in school history as 2-1A State runner-ups the Troy Trojans entered the 2016 season with plenty expectations and one of the teams to beat in Class 2-1A and they have looked the part in the first four games of the season off to a 4-0 start and #1 ranking across the State.

Looking to add a tough test to the schedule this year the Trojans added a road date with Perry Lecompton the Kaws proved to be a tough opponent but behind the aerial assault from Reid Greaser at quarterback the Trojans earned a 25-22 road win to move to 4-0.

Greaser in the contest posted his best passing game of the season finishing with 361 yards on 21-32 with four touchdowns. The Senior signal caller used his playmakers around him airing it out to multiple guys as three different guys snagged touchdown passes in the game.

After passing for 1,800 yards as a junior, Greaser has amassed 1,087 yards passing in just four games on 54-78 passing with 13 touchdowns to two interceptions and a completion percentage of 69%. Reid has added 90 yards on 30 carries with six touchdowns on the ground for a Troy offense that is averaging 46 points per game and 416 yards per game this season.

Trojans behind Greaser and the strong play of his fellow seniors and teammates have gotten off to a strong start after entering the year with high expectations and look to continue that strong start this year as District play looms.
