Jefferson County North Charger, Jacee Kramer Pure Scorer for Lady Charger
Jacee Kramer

Scoring points has been a problem in her three years for the Jefferson County North Chargers as junior, Jacee Kramer continues to score this season leading the Lady Chargers to victories.

Athletic ability seemingly runs in the Kramer family, as Jacee’s sisters Jordan who graduated last season plays college basketball at Washburn, leaving Jacee to take over the mantel this year and that she has so far.

The Lady Chargers after a tough season opening loss to Class 4A, Baldwin have bounced back with commanding wins over McLouth and Jeff West. Chargers dispatched McLouth 69-14 and beat Jeff West 64-35 to improve to 2-1 on the season. Leading the way in both of those games was Jacee who posted a pair of 25 point performances to lead the Lady Chargers. Even in the loss to Baldwin Kramer posted 21 points in the season opener.

It’s just three games into the season but the Jacee is averaging 23.7 ppg above her average of 19.1 ppg last season; a season in which the Lady Chargers captured the Class 2A state title, finishing with a 25-1 record. Kramer scored 20 points in the state title game last year against Olpe to help lead the Chargers to the win.

Last season Jacee earned All Class 2A second team honors and for the last two seasons has earned All-Delaware Valley League honors. Kramer is a stat sheet stuffer and looks to continue that trend this season and help the Lady Chargers along with her teammates to another stellar season and possibly another bid to the state tournament.
