Emilee Ebert

As a freshman, Frankfort Wildcat, Emilee Ebert has busted onto the scene in the Twin Valley League and established herself as a top player.

The Wildcats have won five of their last six games and are 10-10 on the season going into the final part of the regular season this week and gearing up for the postseason. Ebert has been right at the front of the team’s success with several of her teammates helping lead the way with her scoring posting games of 21 and 24 points last week. The freshman posted 21 points and hit 7-9 free throws in a 65-37 rout of Blue Valley-Randolph, while following that up with a 24 point showing against Washington County going 11-13 from the line in a 51-47 Wildcat victory.

The Frankfort freshman on the season has filled the stat sheet night in and night out with 18.3 points per game, close to seven rebounds per game, one assist per game and nearly two steals per game, while shooting 73% from the free throw line. Ebert has recorded double figures in 18 of the teams 20 games this season and posted 20-plus points in 11 games with a 27 point showing against Washington County earlier this year being her season best.

With the play of Ebert and her teammates coming up strong also the Wildcats are starting to put things together to finish out the regular season and look to challenge in postseason play.
