Trey Dishon

Horton Charger senior, Trey Dishon has tossed his way to the top all track season, continually registering the top marks in the shot put and discus at meets.

The senior earned his way back to Wichita again to compete at State track in Class 3A and he did it in impressive fashion by winning both the shot put and discus Regional titles at the Osage City Regional. With a mark of 50’02 Dishon won the shot put, while a toss of 161’03 won the discus Regional title.

Throughout the season Trey has been at the top of his game winning both the discus and shot put six times as meets, while also picking up a second place in the shot put, also. The Charger senior also competed at the KU Relays this year and placed 14^th out of 30 competitors in the shot put.

Looking to close out his high school athletic career Dishon returns to Wichita to compete at the 3A level in State track again in the shot put and discus and medal again like he did as a junior in both events. As a junior Dishon placed fifth in the shot put and sixth in the discus at State last year and before he heads to K-State to play football looks to add a few more medals to the trophy case.
