After opening the season with a road loss all the Valley Falls lady Dragons have down is earn wins, rattling eight straight wins off to be 8-1 on the season and currently ranked fifth in Class 2A KBCA rankings.
The Dragons have dominated their opponents in their wins winning by 14 or more points in every win, while outscoring their opponents 410-181 over their current eight-game winning streak. A key part to that success on the court is the play of junior, Ali Brown who leads the team in scoring with 11.4 ppg, while filling the stat on a regular basis with 2.2 rpg, 2.7 apg and 1.4 spg.
Valley Falls continued to roll along last week, topping Horton 57-26 and McLouth 63-22 and Brown helped lead the charge in each of those games. The junior posted a season high 18 points in the win against Horton, while dishing out four assists and nabbing two steals. Brown followed that up with her four consecutive and eight double figure game of the season posting 13 points against McLouth with three rebounds and one assist.
Behind strong team performances the Dragons are rolling and look to continue that momentum this season with the play of Brown helping lead the charge on the court.
