Tristan Allen
|
The Thunder has been rolling all season thus far as Nemaha Central is off to a 4-0 start on the football field and has gotten contributions from every facet of the game to win.
One guy that has been a key contributor has been junior quarterback, Tristan Allen who has been leading the Thunder offense. Allen helped orchestra a great performance in week four as the Thunder rolled the ACCHS Tigers for a 41-12 win. The junior completed 8 of 10 pass attempts for 152 yards and three TD’s in the game, while adding 57 yards and a TD on the ground on just eight carries.
Stepping in as the starting quarterback this season, Allen as put together a solid start to the season through the first four games, leading the Thunder in their first season as Nemaha Central with an unblemished start. Behind the center, Allen has thrown for 418 yards, five TD’s and one interception on 26-40 for a 65 percent completion rate, while rushing for 145 yards and three TD’s on 36 carries.
It's no doubt been a thunderous start to the season as Nemaha Central is in a groove with Allen being a key piece to the puzzle for the Thunder’s success. Nemaha Central looks to continue that success when they host Holton in their next game, which is a battle of the two Big 7 unbeatens.
