Irish worked to post 49.5 points throughout the competitions with Irish athletes and beat out Sterling who finished with 44 points, winning the Class D State track title.

Falls City Sacred Heart was led on the day by their lone event title as the quartet of Chaz Dunn, Sawyer Kean, Austin Malone and Henry Arnold teamed up to post a time of 3:31.19 to win the 1600-meter relay.

The great performances didn’t stop there for the Irish as they registered a second, three third places, a fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh place, too.

Kean, Dunn and Malone teamed up with Yianni Haralabidis to take second place in the 400-meter relay posting a time of 44.07. While, Haralbidis added a pair of bronze medals to his day taking third in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes. Malone, Dunn and Arnold also added to their medal count on top of competing in the relays. Malone grabbed a third place in the long jump, while also finishing seventh in the triple jump, Dunn notched a fourth place finish in the long jump and Arnold took sixth place in the triple jump.
