ACCHS Tigers have enjoyed a year to remember on the mats already and it’s not even close to being finished with nine wrestlers head to the 3-2-1A State Tournament in Hays. One of those grapplers is junior, Logan Bowen, who has helped spear-head top flight showings by the Tigers on the mats all season, and last weekend at Regionals was no different.

Bowen posted a 4-0 record at the Sabetha 3-2-1A Regional, notching three pinfall wins in his first three matches and followed that up with an 11-5 decision victory to claim the Regional championship at 132lbs, punching his ticket to State in the process.

Logan on the season touts a 22-1 record and currently ranks number two in 3-2-1A polls at 132lbs, while helping lead his team to a number four ranking as a team in last KWCA rankings from February 18^th.

Bowen is looking to improve upon his second place at State from last year at 120lbs, as he finished his season 35-8 overall and helped his team place fifth in the team standings. This year Logan touts the second lowest amount of losses on the year coming into the tournament and has eight of his teammates joining him at the State competition as the Tigers look to put the final feather in their cap to a stellar season on the mats with a great showing at State.
