Luke Pyle

Battling back from injury can be a tough thing but Jefferson County North Charger senior, Luke Pyle has done it well this season after suffering a knee injury he’s back with his team and has scored double figures in his last four games and has helped the team go on a five game winning streak to improve to 7-7 on the season.

Pyle made his return from injury against ACCHS in the McLouth tournament consolation bracket semifinals and only posted six points, but has posted double figures in the last four games starting with the win over Maranatha to claim fifth place at the McLouth tournament. Luke put up 11 points in the game to help lead the Chargers to the 51-47 win.

Coming out of the tournament with momentum Pyle and the Chargers looked to continue it and did so downing KC Christian and Pleasant Ridge twice in their last three games. The JCN senior busted out for 22 points to lead his team in scoring in a 52-39 win over KC Christian and last week posted 16 points and 22 points in two wins over Pleasant Ridge.

After starting the season 2-7 the Chargers have started to find their stride with a five game winning streak and the return of senior leader Luke Pyle has been a big part of Jefferson County North’s success on the court.
