Former Nemaha Central Thunder, Caleb Bradley Off to a Strong Start to His College Track & Field Career

After red-shirting his first year in college at Washburn University former Nemaha Central Thunder, Caleb Bradley has started his college track and field career and done so with some strong performances.

Competing in a pair of competitions during the Indoor season in pole vault Bradley helped Washburn open the Outdoor track and field season with a strong showing at the Emporia State University Spring Invite. The Ichabods started the Outdoor season with several personal records and Bradley notched a record as he tied the school record in the pole vault with a vault of 15’01 earning himself fourth place at the event.

The Indoor season saw Bradley vault his way to fifth place at the UCM Relays behind a vault of 14’01.25 which was a personal record, while he also registered an 11th place finish at the UCM Invite behind a vault of 13’11.75.

Bradley in high school finished his track and field career by earning third place in Class 3A at State his senior year, while he posted a fourth place finish at State his junior year and ninth place his sophomore year. Caleb was a multi-sport athlete at Nemaha Central.

The former Nemaha Central Thunder looks to continue to build upon his strong start in college in the pole vault and continue to vault his way to the top finding success for himself and the Washburn track and field team.
