Former Holton Wildcat Jackson DeLay Making Most of Time With Chiefs Organization
Jackson DeLay

For the past year, former Holton Wildcat Jackson DeLay has been enjoying the championship run with the Kansas City Chiefs serving as the teams marketing manager while working for the team in some capacity since 2014.

The Jackson County native has done it all for the marketing department with the Chiefs assisting the team in ticket sales, leading Red Friday efforts and raising over $300,000 for the Ronald McDonald House.

Because of his work within the Kansas City community, DeLay was awarded the Chiefs Service Award for 2019 and recognized by the Hunt Family for his work with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program.

He graduated from Holton in 2010 and in his time with the Wildcats had huge breakout senior season for the football team where he ran for 782 yards and nine touchdowns.

He was described by coaches as a guy that, “wasn’t the biggest or the fastest, but a guy that was smart and tough.”

After graduating from Holton, DeLay moved on to the University of Kansas where he graduated with a degree in Sports Management in 2014.

From there he immediately went to work for the Chiefs and is now about to enter his seventh season with the team fresh off a Super Bowl Championship.

DeLay has for sure made the most of his time in Kansas City and between his work with the team and within the KC community has big things ahead including everything that comes with working for a team with Super Bowl aspirations once again this upcoming season.
