Whetstine Breaks Troy Single Game Scoring Record in Win vs. Blue Valley-Randolph

The Troy Trojans basketball season continued on Saturday night with a 59-50 win over Blue Valley-Randolph in the semifinals of the 1A-I Sub-State tournament. 

The big storyline was Trojan junior Harper Whetstine as she dropped a career high 43 points whice broke the single game scoring record. 

She has been one the leading scorers in the state and has had multiple 30+ point games this season. 

Outside of her scoring she had two games earlier in the season back-to-back where she collected 16 steals in one game and followed that up with a game with 12 steals. 

The win for the Trojans over the Rams improved their record to 19-1 overall with the current win streak at eight heading into the sub-state championship game at Centralia on Saturday night.
