The Atchison boys golf team competed at the 4A Regional Tournament on Tuesday afternoon at their home course at Bellevue.

The Phoenix finished seventh in the team standings with a score of 363, but had one golfer qualify for the upcoming state tournament next week in Hesston. 

Atchison's lone qualifier was Jackson Snowden who shot an 82 on the day and finished 12th place. 

Wamego won the tournament with a score of 313, Bishop Miege finished runner-up with a score of 327, and Chanute finished in third place with a score of 340. 

All three teams qualified for the state tournament. The individual champion of the tournament went to Wamego's Regan Kueker who finished the day with a 4-over round of 75.
