Sabetha Boys and Centralia Girls Win Sabetha Invite

The Sabetha boys and Centralia girls track and field teams won the Sabetha on Thursday afternoon at Sabetha High School. Complete meet results can be found here

Girls: Centralia got first place finishes from Malayna Becker in the 400m, and Josie Haverkamp in the javelin. The Panthers also won both the 4x100m and 4x400m relay events.

Other notable first place finishes came from Macey Drahota of Sabetha in the 800m and pole vault, Sophia Goombi of Holton in the 1600m, Ellah Stirton of Horton in the 100m hurdles, Rebekah Dement of Holton in the 300m hurdles, Kara Coversup of Horton in the shot put, Abigail Schuster of Holton in the discus, Harper Strathman of Nemaha Central in the high jump, Nola Sudbeck of Nemaha Central in the long jump, and Ellie Hermesch of Nemaha Central in the triple jump.

Boys: The Bluejays got first place finishes from Charlie Lukert in the 1600m, Jack Frazee in the 300m hurdles, Jackson Jacobs in the pole vault, and Will Voos in the long jump and triple jump. 

Other notable first place finishes came from Kayden Gale of Holton in the 100m and 400m, Eric Ashworth of Riverside in the 800m, Kristopher Fulkerson of Centralia in the 3200m, Gus Smith of Hiawatha in the 100m hurdles, Austin Garrison of Horton in the shot put, Eli Hines of Holton in the discus, Jayden Seitz of Nemaha Central in the javelin, and Colden Peak of Holton in the high jump.  

Holton won the 4x100m and 4x400m relays while Centralia won the 4x800m relay.
