Two Big Innings for Sabetha Lift Bluejays to Win over Perry-Lecompton

The Sabetha Bluejays baseball team used two big innings on Thursday afternoon to defeat Perry-Lecompton in Big East league play 11-1. 

The Kaws scored their lone run of the game in the second inning with an RBI from Kaleb Confer. 

The Bluejays would take control of the game in the fourth inning with six runs on five hits. They got an RBI single from Ike Tramp, an RBI single from Storm Dixon, a two-RBI single from Collin Montgomery, and an RBI single from Micah Lang. 

The game would end in the sixth inning via the run rule as the Bluejays added five more on three hits. They got an RBI single from Reid Mitchell, an RBI double from Jayton Meyer, and an RBI single from Tramp. 

Tramp pitched a gem for the Bluejays with a complete game allowing just one run on three hits with five strikeouts and no walks. Tramp also collected three hits and two RBI's total. 

Sabetha would take down the Kaws in game two for the sweep 13-5 to improve to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in league play. After the two losses, the Kaws are still in search of their first win of the season as they're now 0-8 overall and 0-6 in league play.
