KSHSAA has announced the classifications and enrollment numbers for the 2024-2025 year. The membership totals 349 schools. 

There are no changes with 5A and 6A schools with 36 schools in each classification. 

One team has moved up from 3A to 4A and that is Topeka-Hayden which totals the 4A list of schools at 36.

Riverside headlines movement up to 3A from 2A along with Belle Plaine, Garden Plain, and Jayhawk Linn while Scott Community goes down to 3A from 4A. The total number of schools at the 3A level is listed at 64. 

There are multiple teams moving up and down to the 2A classification. Doniphan West makes the jump up to 2A from 1A while Rossville takes a step down from 3A to 2A. Other teams moving up from 1A to 2A include Yates Center, Wichita-Central Christian Academy, Udall, Sylvan-Lucas, Solomon, and Oswego. Other teams moving down from 3A to 2A with Rossville include Douglass, Bluestem, and Phillipsburg. 

There are 112 total teams in the 1A classification and seven have moved down from 2A and that list is Ellis, West Elk, Lincoln, Meade, Oxford, Sedan, and Wichita-Independent.
