For the third week in a row, a Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat women's basketball player was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Player of the Week.

Adaugo Osuala, a 5-6 guard from Lakewood, Colo., earned the HAAC's honor on Monday, Jan. 21, for her efforts during the previous week.

Osuala returned to the Peru State lineup after five games on the sidelines to help the Bobcats finish the first half of conference play with three-straight wins. She averaged 20.5 points and 5.5 rebounds last week in two victories, including a 22-point, five-rebound effort on 11-of-15 shooting against Evangel University on Saturday.

Against Graceland University on Thursday night, Osuala finished the game with 19 points, six rebounds, and had a game-high six steals.

On the season, Osuala is averaging 15.3 points per game, 4.8 rebounds, 4.8 steals, and 2 assists.  Currently, she is fourth in the NAIA Division I Individual Rankings with 72 total steals.

Previously, Bobcat teammate Courtney Ward (Bartlesville, Okla.) had earned the past two HAAC Player of the Week honors.
