Jefferson West, Nemaha Central, and Sabetha All Finish Top-5 at St. Mary's

St. Mary's hosted their boys golf invitational at Stagg Hill on Thursday afternoon with 13 teams competing and six from the Kanzaland area. 

Jefferson West, Nemaha Central, and Sabetha finished second, third, and fourth respectively as it was Santa Fe Trail who finished in first place as a team. 

Jeff West finished with a team score of 351 and posted three golfers in the top-20 led by Lake Peet who shot an 80 and finished in fifth place. 

Nemaha Central tallied 358 and had two finish inside the top-10 with Carter Lutz shooting an 83 which was good for eighth place while Isaac Lueger shot an 84 and finished in a tie for ninth. 

Sabetha finished with 362 which was one stroke better than Silver Lake. The Bluejays were led by Cole Grimes who tied for ninth with an 84 while Cullen Wikle finished top-20 with a 91. 

Holton finished in seventh place as a team and were led by Parker Crouch who tied for 13th with an 86. 

Horton finished in 11th place overall and were led by Chandler Newman who shot a 101. Frankfort finished in 12th place and were led by Joey Hardwick who fired a round of 85 which was good for 12th place.
