Holton Girls Win Home Invitational while the Boys Finish Second

It was a great start to the Track and Field season for the Holton Wildcats as the girls won their home invitational on Tuesday while the boys finished in second place behind Hayden. 

Boys Events

Holton's Gary Booth and Eli Hallauer finished first and second respectively in the 100 meters while Hiawatha's Connor Kettler finished in fourth place. 

Brayden Peek of Holton took home second in the 400 meters while Kaden Morton of Hiawatha finished in third place. 

Jackson Heights posts a strong showing in the 800 meters with Daniel Little and Nate Linck going second and third place respectively. Little and Linck would go third and fourth respectively in the 1600 meters. 

Ian Anderson of Jackson Heights finished in third place in the 110 meter hurdles while Holton's Tyson Snyder finished in second place in the 300 meter hurdles. 

The Hiawatha 4x800 meter relay team took home first place while Holton finished in second place and Jackson Heights in fourth. 

Spencer Doughramaji of Valley Falls and Jesse Greenly of Atchison finished in third and fourth place respectively in the shot put. 

Holton's Gavin Barnes took the gold in the javelin while John Collins of Atchison finished in fifth place. 

Holton posted three of the top four finishes in the high jump with Jake Zeller in first, Jaylen Turner in second, and Tyson Snyder in fourth. Devin Mock of Jackson Heights finished in third place. 

Caleb Hernandez of Holton finished in second place in the pole vault while Taegan Binkley of Jackson Heights finishing in fourth place. 

Holton's Sam Miller finished in second place in the triple jump while Ethan Henry of Hiawatha finished in fifth place. 

Girls Events 

Hiawatha's Dani Morton finished in first place in the 100 meter run. Amelie Faulenbach of Hiawatha finished in first place in the 400 meters while Aarlynn Allen of Holton took second place. 

Annie Allen of Jackson Heights dominated the 800 meter run finishing nearly 17 seconds ahead of Holton's Charlotte Cyphers for first place. 

Macey Gross of Holton finished first place in the 100 meter hurdles while her teammate Jayana Carlson finished in third place. Gross and Carlson also took home first and second respectively in the 300 meter hurdles. Gross also finished first place in the high jump while Atchison's Tyeera Heyward finished in second place. 

The 4x100 meter relay teams of Hiawatha and Holton finished in second and third place respectively while Jackson Heights finished in fourth place. Holton's 4x800 meter relay team took home first place ahead of Hayden and Abilene. 

Darcee Ashcroft of Holton finished in first place in the shot put while Dawson Cochren of Jackson Heights finished in fourth place. Ashcroft and Cochren finished first and second respectively in the discus while Elizabeth Schuster and Lora Larison of Holton finished in third and fourth respectively. 

Macey Patch of Holton finished in third place in the javelin while Cochren and Rebekah Hutfles of Jackson Heights finished in fourth and fifth respectively. 

Piper Robinson of Holton finished in first place in the pole vault. Kanyon Olberding of Jackson Heights finished in first place in the long jump while her teammate Taylor Bosley finished in fifth place. Olberding also took home first place in the triple jump while Amariah Allen and Emily Horr of Holton finished in third and fourth respectively.
