The 2022 Track and Field season is underway and it was a great start for the ACCHS boys as they took home first place. Oskaloosa finished in second with Riverside fifth and Troy in sixth place.
Kieran Courter of ACCHS and Cord Perry of Oskaloosa finished first and second in the 100 meters. Cord came back with a third place finish in the 200 meters with Tyson Hewitt of ACCHS and Riverside's Josh King finishing fifth and sixth respectively.
Courter also took home first place in the long jump while Perry finished in second place and Troy's Jerrit Norris finishing in third.
Landon Conard of Riverside and Nickolas Bradshaw of Oskaloosa took home third and fifth place finishes in the 400 meters.
The top three in the 800 meters was Haeden Forbes of ACCHS, Jesse Thacher of Oskaloosa, and Benjamin Rush of ACCHS.
Bricen Lee and Evan Sinclair of ACCHS took the top two finishes in the 110 meter hurdles with Lee in first place and Sinclair in second.
Lee also took home the gold in the 300 meter hurdles followed by Troy's Christian Etherton in second and Oskaloosa's Coy Perry in third.
ACCHS won the 4x100 meter relay, and Riverside took third in the 4x200 meter relay. ACCHS and Oskaloosa finished second and third respectively in the 4x400 meter relay. Oskaloosa took home first in the 4x800 meter relay.
Keegan Lott of ACCHS finished first in the shot put with Colsen Perry of Oskaloosa finishing in third place. Lott also took home first place in the javelin with Jack Hartman of Riverside finishing in third place.
Riverside had the top two in the pole vault with Christopher Brooke and Cody Hewins.
Matthew Worley of ACCHS finished in first place in the triple jump followed by Norris for Troy and Cord Perry of Oskaloosa.
The Oskaloosa girls finished in second place behind Osborne while Riverside and Troy finished in fourth and fifth respectively.
Oskaloosa's Olivia Kilgo took home first place in the 100 meters while Allie Franken of Troy finished in third place. Kilgo also took home the first place finish in the 100 meter hurdles and first place in the long jump plus a second place finish in the triple jump.
Holly Thacher of Oskaloosa won the 400 meters while Madeline Forant of ACCHS finishing in third place.
The 800 meter run went to Riverside's Karmen Baldwin as she finished in first place. Katelyn Vogel of Oskaloosa finished in third place.
Vogel came back with a second place finish in the 1600 meters while her teammate Talyor Peterson finished in third place.
Troy won the 4x100 meter relay with ACCHS finishing in fifth place. Troy also finished first in the 4x400 meter relay. Riverside won the 4x200 meter relay. Oskaloosa finished in first place in the 4x800 meter relay.
Lillian White of ACCHS was the top finisher in the discus while her teammate Elaina Pantle finished in third place in the javelin.
Troy with a strong showing in the high jump with Allie Franken and Jaya Pierce finishing in first and second place respectively in the high jump.
Sophie Juhl of Riverside finished in first place in the triple jump while her teammate Bayleigh Cooper finished in third place.
