Wahwassuck Named MOP at 3A State; Zac Evans of Valley Falls Makes 2A All Tourney Team

Sports in Kansas released their boys basketball State All-Tournament teams as the season concluded on Saturday. 

Royal Valley fell short in the 3A Title Game against Hesston but Nahcs Wahwassuck was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Tournament. 

Wahwassuck finished the three game stretch with 68 points including dropping 30 points in their quarterfinal win over Girard. 

Valley Falls sophomore Zac Evans was named to the 2A All-Tournament team as he tallied 59 points in the Dragons three games in Manhattan including putting up 28 points and nine rebounds in their quarterfinal win over St. Mary's Colgan. 

Also in Class 1A-II, Hanover came up shy of back-to-back titles as they lost on a last second three against Greely County in the Title Game. 

Emmitt Jueneman and Keagan Dimler for the Wildcats were both named to the 1A-II All Tournament team.
