Updated Big 7 League Basketball Stats

Here are the updated Big 7 league basketball stats as we're down to the final couple of games of the regular season. 

The race for the girls Big 7 league title is hitting up down the stretch with Nemaha Central leading the way with a 10-2 league record. Hiawatha and Jefferson West are both at the heels of the Thunder at 9-3 and 9-4 respectively. 

Hiawatha's Clara Lindstrom is the Big 7's leading scorer at nearly 15 points per game while Hiawatha also posts the leading offense at 47 points per game. 

Six of the eight teams in the league are allowing under 40 points per game on the season.

The Royal Valley boys, currently ranked fourth in Class 3A, are in control of their own destiny to land their third straight Big 7 league title with a 12-1 league record. 

Sabetha is right behind at 10-2 and Nemaha Central currently third at 9-3. 

Six players in the league are currently averaging at least 15 points per game led by Royal Valley's Nahcs Wahwassuck at 17.4 points per game. Wahwassuck just recently committed to play ball at the next level for Emporia State. 

Nemaha Central's Kurtis Beck is right behind at 16.4 points per game. 

Five of the eight teams in the league are averaging over 53 points per game led by Royal Valley's 59.4 points per game. 

The Panthers also have the best defense in the league allowing under 39 points per game.
