The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association have released their latest rankings with Regional's on tap for this weekend across Kansas.
The Holton boys, coming off a Big 7 league title last week, stay at #9 as a team in the 4A rankings this week.
Three wrestlers remain ranked with Jayden Fletcher #2 at 160, Dalton Roush #2 at 220, and Dustin Chermok #4 at 285.
Other local athletes ranked this week across the 3-2-1A rankings this week include Sabetha's Kellen Menold #5 at 113, Marysville's Gable Fredrickson #5 at 120, Sabetha's Cullen Wikle #4 at 126 while Marysville's Carter Trimble is #6.
Mason Scholz of ACCHS is ranked #4 at 132 while Sabetha's Jonathan Renyer checks in at #6 at 152.
The Holton girls, coming off a regional title last week, are ranked fourth as a team this week in the 4-1A rankings.
The Wildcats are sending six of their nine athletes to the State Tournament and they have three ranked this week. Macey Gross #4 at 120, Gracie Gallagher #5 at 132, and Sadie Walker #5 at 143.
Other area girls ranked this week include Holly Thacher of Oskaloosa, one of our reigning athletes of the week, as she's ranked #4 at 101. Anna Patz of McLouth is #4 at 126, Ella Johnson of Marysville #4 at 138, and Oskaloosa's Allison King remains #1 at 155.
