The Holton boys wrestling team took home a 2nd place finish at the 21st Annual Baldwin Invitational Tournament.
The Wildcats finished with 173.5 points behind only Tonganoxie that piled over 250 points for first place.
Perry Lecompton also competed and finished in 12th place with a total of 68.5 points.
Holton's Tucker Gilliland and Perry Lecompton's Hunter Clifton finished 1st and 2nd respectively at 113 pounds. Gilliland defeated Clifton 8-2 via decision.
Kyler Jackson of Holton finished in 3rd at 120 while Perry Lecompton's Alex Conus finished in 4th place. Jackson defeated Conus for 3rd place via pinfall.
Lucas Adcock picked up a 2nd place finish at 145 for Holton, losing to Ottawa's Parker Guge in the 1st place match.
Jayden Fletcher of Holton, who's one of the top wrestlers in the state at 160, finished in 2nd place falling to Buhler's Sam Elliott in the first place match.
Dalton Roush, who's the number one ranked wrestler at 220, took home a 2nd place finish after losing to Goodland's Dexter Dautel by fall in the 1st place match.
Also number one at their respective weight class, Dustin Chermok for Holton at 285 also picked up a 2nd place finish losing in the 1st place match to Goodland's Caleb Duell by fall.
