In the Class 4A State Wrestling Tournament in February, Tannahill captured his second consecutive State Title at 195 pounds ending his season with a 30-1 record.

Tannahill was a perfect 3-0 on Championship Saturday with two wins via pin and then winning a close 4-2 decision in the Championship Match over Tonganoxie’s Branden Martin, who gave Tannahill his only loss of the season at Regional’s.

Overall, Holton had five medalists and finished 5th place as a team.
