Benedictine Dominates Clarke 73-14

The Benedictine Ravens used the combination of a punishing ground game and a relentless defense to defeat Clarke University 73-14 Saturday afternoon in Atchison.

BC running back Marquis Stewart put up 169 yards rushing on 16 carries with 3 touchdowns and caught one touchdown pass.  Charlie Nihart added 101 yards on 13 carries and 1 TD.  The Ravens totalled 461 yards on the ground and ended the game with 634 total yards.

Defensively, Benedictine allowed The Pride only 15 rushing yards on the day on 30 carries and 134 total yards of offense.

BC, #2 in the nation and 4-0 on the season will be on the road next Saturday night in Canton, MO as they are hosted by Culver-Stockton.  KAIR 93.7 pregame is set for 5:30 with kickoff at 6:00.
