There was a big crowd at Riley Field in Winchester Friday night to watch Jefferson County North win its home opener against Pleasant Ridge 58-20.

The Chargers first two touchdowns came only 10 seconds apart as JCN was enroute to a 44-12 halftime lead.  Led by Ridge Robertson whose 3 touchdowns came on a 72 yard punt return, a 75 yard kickoff return and a 10 yard run, Jeff North also got scoring from Sam Larson on runs of 35 and 6 yards, Boston Lane with a 25 yard pass to Brayden Summers and a 6 yard run, and one TD from Anthony Cahill from 5 yards out. 

Pleasant Ridge got scoring runs from Brayden Bargary, Jake Heckman, and Keaton Commer.

Up next for the 3-0 Chargers will be homecoming with Oskaloosa, a game which may be heard live Friday night on KAIR 93.7. Pleasant Ridge (0-3) will be in Easton, hosting McLouth.
