(KLZA)-- The Class C, District 1 softball tournament is continuing today at Syracuse. 

In the semi-final round this afternoon 3rd seed Ashland-Greenwood defeated Falls City 9-5.  Johnson County Central eliminated top-seed Southern with a 5-3 victory. 

Falls City and Johnson County Central are meeting for the right to play Ashland-Greenwood in the finals.  The winner between the Tigers and Thunderbirds will need to beat the Bluejays twice to win the district title and advance to the state tournament.
