Centralia Panther Volleyball Coach Kimbrook Tennal Records 600th Career Win

Centralia Panther volleyball Coach, Kimbrook Tennal accomplished quite a big feat back on Tuesday registering his 600th career win as a volleyball coach. Tennal now with 601 wins has his Panthers team rolling this season with a 30-1 record, picking up three wins on Tuesday night at the Onaga Quad to move past 600 in his career.

Tennal lead the Panthers to their 11th State title last year as the team won the Class 1A-Division I State championship, giving Coach his seventh State title as a coach and 16th that he has been a part of. Kimbrook before taking over at Centralia coach Nemaha Valley too six State titles in 3A and also led the program to 137-straight match winning streak, a State record. Tennal then moved to Centralia to serve as the assistant coach to his wife Kim who led the Panthers to nine State titles, including eight straight from 1997-2004. In 2007 Kimbrook took over head coaching duties for the Centralia volleyball program and has been winning games since and the State title last year.

The Panthers have their sights set on a return trip to Hays to defend their Class 1A-Division I State title this year but still have work to do games left in the regular season and a solid Sub-State looming in front of them.
