The season and school year has come to a close and post season honors have been handed out in the Big Seven league for baseball.

In baseball, Perry Lecompton won the league this year and finished as runner-up at the 4A-DII State tournament with a 21-4 record on the season. The Kaws finished Big Seven action 13-1 and had five guys earn All-league honors. Zach Linquist and Mitchell Bond both earned All-League at the two spots, as Linquist was named All-League pitcher and infielder, while Bond was named All-League at utility and pitcher. Charlie Shuck earned All-League in the outfield, while Bowen Cunningham earned the honor at catcher. Drew Scrimsher earned All-League honorable mention at pitcher and infield.

Jeff West Tigers baseball finished second in the league with a 12-2 league record and finished the year 17-3. Brent Roberts earned All-League pitcher, while Bret Ricklefs was named All-League outfield and Wyatt Miller at infield. Ricklefs also earned honorable mention All-League at pitcher.

Santa Fe Trail, Nemaha Central, Riverside and Royal Valley all had one All-League player and a few honorable mention honorees, too.

Cody Vandevord was named All-League at outfield for Santa Fe Trail, while Brian Hawkins, Spencer Bessette and Aaron Ackerman all earned honorable mention honors at catcher, pitcher and utility, respectively.

Nemaha Central Thunder, Dustin Rottinghaus was named All-League at infield, while earning honorable mention honors at pitcher. Alex Rottinghaus earned honorable mention All-League at outfield.

Riverside Cyclone, Zach Halter earned All-League at infield, while Royal Valley Panther Jon Cox earned his All-League honors at utility.

Holton Wildcats had Derek Haverkamp, Justin Reischick and Jason Yingst earn honorable mention honors at infield, outfield and outfield, respectively. While ACCHS Tiger, Hunter Ostertag also earned honorable mention All-League honors.
