The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following men's indoor track & field athletes-of-the-week for January 6 – January 12, 2014.  Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2013-2014 GPAC players-of-the-week and players and coaches-of-the-year awards program. 

Doane's Kale Wolken is the field athlete-of-the-week. Wolken, a sophomore from Tecumseh, a Johnson-Brock high school graduate, became the first Doane long jumper in school history to eclipse 24 feet, jumping 24-05.00 Saturday at the Ward Haylett Invite. His mark, a school record, meets the NAIA "A" standard (automatic qualifying mark for Nationals) in the event and is the top mark in the NAIA. Wolken also competed in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing fourth overall.
