(KTNC) -  The Peru State College football team has cracked the NAIA Coaches’ Top 25 Poll for the first time since 2005.  The Bobcats are ranked 23rd in this week’s poll after receiving votes last week.  Peru State is off to a 3-0 start after a 21-7 win over Graceland on Saturday.
 Morningside remains the top-ranked team.  The Mustangs received all 14 first place votes and 314 points in this week's poll.
 Three other Heart of America Athletic Conference teams are in the Top 25.  Missouri Valley is ranked 9th, Benedictine is 10th, and Baker University is ranked 13th.
 Peru State will host Benedictine at Auburn High School this Saturday.  The Ravens moved up four spots in the poll after defeating Baker last week.  Baker fell five spots after the loss to Benedictine.
