It was a battle of Twin Valley League teams on the golf course at Cool Springs golf course in Onaga as Valley Heights, Washington County, Vermillion (Centralia & Frankfort), Linn and the host Onaga faced off against each other.
On the day it was the host Onaga Buffaloes taking home the crown between the five teams after tallying a 4-man team score of 357. Buffaloes were lead by the trio of Mitchell Kufhal, Devin Schlegel and Matt Marten to all registered an 89 on the day, with Lucas Helget adding the final score to the team tally after shooting a 90.
The Linn Bulldogs followed Onaga in second place only eight strokes back posting a scored of 365 on the day lead by an 84 on the day courtesy of Zak Voelker.
Only three strokes seperated second and third, as Vermillion took home third behind a 368 on the day with Ryan Vernon leading the way behind the best round of the day an 82. Valley Heights followed in fourth place totalling a 380 on the day lead by the third best outing on the day as Brendon Bobrovolny shot an 85.
Washington County rounded out the team performances registering a team score of 425 to take fifth place on the day.
Many of the TVL teams have one or two more tournaments before they set their sights on the League tournament coming up on May 10th back at Cool Springs golf course in Onaga.
