Football - Hiawatha vs Holton 10/07/2016 7:00 PM

Holton led 27-13 after the first quarter against Hiawatha and then used a 26-0 second quarter to take control and cruise to the win. The Wildcats scored on all eight possessions in the first half and posted 490 total yards offense with 452 coming on the ground. Spencer Baum had just 5 carries but ran for 155 yards with 3 TDs & a TD reception from Mason Strader, while AJ Haussler had 4 carries for 127 yards with 2 TDs. Miles McClintock-Strozier and Jayger Carson each added a rushing TD for Holton in the contest, while Parker Zeller ran for 2 TDs. 

Hiawatha was hurt by 4 first half turnovers but got 2 rushing TDs from Colin Sample on 18 carries with 128 yards, along with a rushing TD from Joseph Kunkel who also tossed a 65-yard TD pass to Andrew Woods. Manuel Flores added 94 yards on 14 carries.
