2A State Tournament (at Manhattan) Championship

Jackson Heights Cobras won their first State title since 2003 and third in school history by taking down an unbeaten Sacred Heart team. The Cobras used a 20-9 second quarter to lead 34-20 at the half and finished the game shooting 43% from the floor. Wyatt Olberding finished with 27 points, 8 rebounds and was 8-12 from the free throw line, while Zane Richter scored 26 points, had 9 rebounds and was 9-11 from the charity stripe.
