Doniphan West worked to a 20-11 lead after the first quarter and led 28-17 at the half against Axtell and held off runs by the Eagles in the second half to secure the win. Cooper Leach led Doniphan West with 14 points, while Austin Taylor scored 13 points and Devin Taylor added 9 points; the Mustangs as a team finished the game 15-20 from the free throw line. Axtell was led by Colton Buessing who posted 14 points, hitting four three's and Mitchell Kuckelman chipped in 12 points.
