Hanover held a 37-24 lead at halftime but the Axtell Eagles made the game interesting down the stretch with a 24-17 fourth quarter cutting the lead down to as close as seven in the fourth but came upa little short. Michael Jueneman led Hanover with 32 points, while Trey Loshe contributed 16 points and Devin Jueneman scored 10 points. Axtell was led by Adam Kuckelman who scored 15 points, while Brice Koch posted 14 points and Kaleb Buessing scored 13 points.
