Hanover held the 37-32 lead at hafltime but with a 6-0 run in the middle of the third quarter Axtell took the 41-40 lead at 4:16 remaining the third and went on to grab the win, using a 16-4 third quarter overall. Courtney Heinen posted 19 points for the Eagles, while Bradie Schmitz finished with 13 points and Kiersten Talbot and Megan Buessing each scored 9 points. Hanover was led by Ashton Jueneman who scored 19 points, while Riley Doebele added 16 points and Macy Doebele chipped in 13 points.
