Hiawatha Invitational - Championship
Hiawatha won their home tournament for the first time in 36 years and after trailing most of the second half took a lead late picked up the win. Emily Gartner hit a shot with 11 seconds remaining to give Hiawatha the lead and then had a game sealing block to help the Red Hawks secure the win. Gartner finished with 23 points to lead Hiawatha, while Kaley Dalinghaus led Nemaha Central scoring 14 points. The Thunder had a 12-6 second quarter and carried an 18-13 lead into halftime of the contest.
