Both teams traded leads for much of the first half until Axtell ended the first half on a run to lead 32-25 at halftime. That lead grew behind a 22-15 third quarter and the Eagles went on to earn the win with Courtney Heinen leading the way with 19 points, while Kiersten Talbot scored 14 points, Bradie Schmitz added 11 points and Emily Ronnebaum chipped in 9 points. Frankfort was led by Emilee Ebert who scored 20 points, while Rebecca Adams posted 11 points and Jessa Yaussi added 9 points.
