Holton was shutout and shutdown in the 4A-DII State title game finishing the season as State runner-up to Holcomb who won a battle on a snowy, icy, cold day. The Wildcats trailed 6-0 at halftime and struggled offensively on the day registering only 186 total yards of offense in the contest and only making two trips into the redzone in the game. Mason Barta led Holton with 64 yards on 19 carries in the loss.
