Clifton-Clyde held a 16-8 advantage after the first quarter against Axtell but the Axtell responded with a 15-6 second quarter to lead 23-22 at the half and followed that up with a 32-14 second half to earn the win. Courtney Heinen led Axtell with 20 points, while Kiersten Talbot scored 15 points and Megan Buessing added 10 points. Emily Coffman led Clifton-Clyde with 16 points.
