Atchison opened their season in routing fashion with the win over Falls City. The Redmen led 15-5 after the first quarter and 39-18 at the half on their way to the win. Wykeen Gill led Atchison with 13 points, while Cole Batemon added 13 points, Tyler DeSilva scored 11 points and Adam Smith chipped in 9 points. Falls City was led by Brandt Chapple who scored 15 points.
