Jeff West Tigers won the battle of the cats in Big Seven action to start the season getting the best of Royal Valley, as the Tigers led 14-3 after just the first quarter and led 22-13 at half on their way to the win. Mariah Murdie led the Tigers with with 15 points, while Faith Becker and Jordan Biggs each added 10 points. Royal Valley was led by Kiikto Thomas who posted 11 points.
