For the second straight year the Troy Trojans took on Olpe in the 2-1A Sub-State round of the playoffs and behind a 30-point second quarter earned the win to make it to the State Championship in football for the first time in school history.
Olpe starte the game scoring on their first two offensive drives and were up 13-0 after the first quarter but Troy found their offense in the second quarter scoring all 30 of their points in the frame to lead 30-13 at halftime. Cuttar Huss ended the first half with a 70-yard interception return touchdown for the Trojans, whose three other scores came on the ground from Reid Greaser, Alex Martinez and Huss. Greaser ran for 80 yards on 16 carries with TD, while Martinez ran for 59 yards on 13 carries with TD and Huss had five carries for 82 yards and TD. Huss also snagged another INT late to help secure the win.
