For the second straight year the Hanover Wildcats earned a spot in the 8-Man DI State championship after beating Burlingame in Sub-State. Hanover led 36-16 at the half and once again used their passing attack to earn the win. Will Bruna finished 24-32 for 259 yards and 5 TDs (which gives him the most passing TDs in a single season in 8-Man football in Kansas) and added 75 yards on 22 carries with a TD. Matthew White had a 77-yard kickoff return TD, while Trey Loshe caught 14 passes for 179 yards and 3 TDs. Daikon Stallbaumer and Devin Jueneman each had a TD reception and Jueneman also had a rushing TD for the Wildcats.
