Hanover Wildcats took on another unbeaten team and earned another impressive win this time earning them a spot in the 8-Man DI Sub-State game, with the win over West Elk in the Regional round of the playoffs (2nd round). West Elk actually held a 14-8 early lead but Hanover led 44-20 at halftime and cruised to another win. Will Bruna set the single season passing yards record in Kansas for 8-Man with 373 yards on 27-34 with 4 TDs (previous record 2,837 - Bruna with 3,010 yards after win against West Elk), he also is one TD shy of tying single season passing TD record in Kansas for 8-Man. Bruna also ran for a pair of scores in the game, while Matthew White had a 78-yard kickoff return TD and TD run and Devin Jueneman added a TD run. Diakon Stallbaumer caught 4 passes for 124 yards and 2 TDs and Trey Loshe snagged 13 passes for 167 yards and 2 scores.
