Valley Heights held the 17-10 lead after the 1st quarter and led 33-25 at halftime but a strong second half by Axtell earned them the win, as Axtell posted a 25-15 3rd quarter and 23-10 4th quarter. Courtney Heinen and Anna Buessing each posted 20 points going 12-13 and 7-7 from the free throw line, respectively. Kiersten Talbot added 17 points as Axtell as a team was 35-43 from the free throw line. Sidney Blackburn and Kayla Smith led Valley Heights with 27 and 21 points, respectively.
